Ann Bordelon

Ann Bordelon is an accomplished executive and board director recognized for advising organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and complexity.

With over three decades of global experience across Fortune 1, early-stage, and mission-driven enterprises, Ann brings deep expertise in financial strategy, organizational design, operational execution, and governance.

A former senior finance executive at Walmart, Ann held multiple C-suite roles including CFO of Sam’s Club, CFO of Walmart Asia, and Global Chief Audit Executive. She led large-scale organizational transformations that simplified organizational structures, and elevated leadership capability across multi- billion-dollar business units. Her experience scaling talent and systems across geographies gives her a unique lens on how to align financial discipline with growth ambitions.

Ann serves as Audit Committee Chair for both America’s Car-Mart (NASDAQ: CRMT) and Portillo’s (NASDAQ: PTLO), where she contributes to strategic oversight in scaling operations, evolving governance practices, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Earlier in her career, she also managed the Audit Committee of Walmart and served on the board of Walmart de Mexico (SAB de CV).

Ann currently serves as Executive Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration at the University of Arkansas, where she functions as the institution’s chief financial and administrative officer overseeing a budget of over $1 billion and enterprise functions spanning finance, IT, HR, facilities, risk, and operations. She has driven modernization in budgeting, data, technology, and resource planning—transforming legacy systems into forward-looking, insight-driven platforms that enable performance and sustainability.

Ann’s leadership philosophy centers on building capability and capacity—designing organizations that can scale intelligently through clarity of structure, culture, and accountability. Her career reflects a consistent ability to diagnose systemic challenges, align teams, and build frameworks that accelerate growth and resilience.

A CPA, Ann holds a BS in Business Administration in accounting and information systems from the University of Arkansas.

She also chairs the Ozark Foundation Board and is deeply engaged in mentoring emerging leaders as well as entrepreneurs. Outside the boardroom, she is an avid cyclist, outdoor enthusiast, Broadway co- producer, and lifelong Razorback fan.
